Sandra has over 12 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She has helped boards develop strategy and vision focused on organization and community culture, liberation management coaching, and adapting tools for racial equity. Sandra is formerly the Capacity Building Lead for Rooted in Vibrant Communities (RVC). She immigrated to the U.S. from Nairobi, Kenya as a teenager and speaks Kiswahili, English, and Spanish.

Betsey is the founder of Copper Consulting and has worked for 20 years with nonprofits nationally and internationally, including Nepal, India, China, and Chad. As a two-time founding executive director and two-time development director, Betsey provides organizational development, board governance, and fundraising assistance to local community-based organizations.

Janell Jordan is a creative project manager and facilitator whose work lives at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and community design. With over a decade of experience across community-led initiatives and organizational development, their consulting practice brings together project and event management, facilitation, website and communications design, and operational strategy. Janell combines strategic thinking with hands-on implementation to translate ambitious ideas and deeply held values into thoughtful, meaningful action. A relationship builder and systems thinker at heart, Janell approaches each collaboration with curiosity, care, and a commitment to creating work that is both imaginative in its intention and functional in its execution. She believes the way we work together is just as important as what we create.

Caitie specializes in nonprofit operations, capacity building, and technical assistance. With over a decade of leadership spanning nonprofit administration, higher education athletics operations, and project management, including seven years as Operations Manager at the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Coalition, she brings a deep understanding of organizational systems and strategy. Caitie excels at translating complex operational challenges into clear, practical, and sustainable solutions that help ' community-based organizations thrive.

Shawn Koyano has 25 years of experience working in and with non-profit and community-based organizations both large and small. She has directly supported and provided coaching for executive directors, directors and manager level staff. With a passion for supporting others and an understanding of non-profit management, Shawn is dedicated to helping individuals and organizations make a meaningful impact in their communities. She leads with compassion and understanding, working to bring out the innate wisdom that lives within each individual.

Lisa has been the administrative assistant for RHL since 2022 where her organizational skills led to the development of efficient tracking systems to support the team. She has a knack for systems thinking with skills in bookkeeping and customer service.

Vivian is proud to lead the exceptional RHL Consulting Team. With over 20 years of experience working alongside community-based organizations locally and internationally, including in Central and South America, she brings a unique combination of public health expertise, rigorous research, and hands-on community engagement. Vivian holds a PhD in Epidemiology and a Master of Public Health from the University of Washington. She has extensive experience conducting research and evaluating programs that improve outcomes for children, families, and communities. She specializes in organizational capacity building, technical assistance, and program evaluation, helping organizations strengthen their work, use data to inform decisions, and demonstrate their impact. Vivian is passionate about partnering with community leaders, particularly those serving LGBTQIA+ and other historically marginalized communities, to create meaningful, lasting change that advances equity.

Sarah Poe Ramirez is the Deputy Division Administrator over programs in the Public Health Division at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. Previously, she was the Director of the Malheur County Health Department, a Certified Prevention Specialist, and an End-of-Life Doula. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of Idaho and a master’s degree and graduate certificate from Boise State University’s Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning program. She is an advocate for community-based projects, volunteerism, inclusive discourse, and transformational leadership and has extensive experience with local, state, and federal funding, program management, and team supervision.

Sarah is a software developer with over 6 years of professional experience, primarily in the financial tech sector. She joined RHL in September 2026, focusing on developing websites for nonprofits. Her past experience includes developing software in Java, Python, Ruby, C++, Haskell, and PHP. She also has experience organizing around LGBTQ and tenants rights. She grew up in Saudi Arabia and the UK, and is conversational in Spanish."

Sammy comes from an education background and started her career teaching in Chicago Public Schools. She transitioned to working with nonprofits in 2019 and has experience in project management, communications support, facilitation, coaching, and organizational development. In all of her work she focuses on relationship building and centering BIPOC voices. She is proficient in Korean.
